THIS Conference – Universal Design for Learning
Interested in inclusive education? Here’s a unique opportunity for you this summer!
The Manitoba Alliance for Universal Design for Learning (MAUDeL) is hosting its second conference to explore what inclusive education can look like, and to support teachers, educators, and other community members in their efforts to create inclusive schools.
For teachers new to UDL, they are also offering a Summer Institute the week before the conference.
MAUDeL is an organization made up of people in Manitoba involved in inclusive education and promoting the Three Block Model of UDL as a means to achieving socially and academically inclusive schools. All kids matter, and all kids can learn.
MAUDeL, and its founder, Dr. Jennifer Katz, offer a comprehensive and cohesive framework for moving inclusive education forward in Manitoba!
Anyone is welcome to register – this conference isn’t just for teachers.

Hi Can you tell me if you will be having another Universal Design for Learning Conference in 2016? If so, where would it be located?
Also, can you provide more details of the PLAY Project Workshop on April 14,15.
There will indeed be another conference this summer, following a one-week summer institute to introduce people to the basics of UDL. Information will be posted at thisconference.ca as soon as it is ready.
The best way to find out more about the PLAY Project training is to go to the PLAY Project website, or contact them if you have further questions. http://www.playproject.org/event/play-project-2-day-intensive-workshop-winnipeg-canada-april-14-15-2016/
Hope you can make it!
